Super Dave

Musical Background: Absolutely none unless you want to count playing the trombone in junior high (and really poorly at that) as a musical background. I did sing quite a bit while on watch in the Navy. On a submarine in the middle of a patrol it is extremely boring so we spent many hours making up perverted songs. They don’t translate very well into civilian life.

Gear: Duct tape, stick pins and digital camera.

Who would you like to play you in the movie about your life: Burt Reynolds in his Smokey and the Bandit Days. He wouldn’t need to wear his hairpiece.

Sound you love: A nice steady rain at night.

Sound you hate: Whining kids around my feet. The older I get, the worse it gets.

Job you would most love to try other then your current one: Sports columnist. Mainly football, hockey, basketball, baseball, etc., etc., etc. Either that or a Playboy photographer.

Favorite curse word: Of course the very popular F-Word! It must be said with conviction to be used properly. Although I am not nearly as talented in using it as Raven.

What CD is currently in your car player: I never listen to them so there isn’t one. I would first have to figure out how to use it.

Last good movie you saw: Apocolypto

Favorite State Fair Food: Corn dogs

Michelle

Musical Background:
I grew up listening to classic country and big band music. I wanted to play drums, but only took lessons for 6 months when my instructor came down with mono(not from me!) and I got side-tracked. I tried the trombone and choir while in school but was never really interested in it. I did take guitar lessons for 2 years starting when I was 19, but never really figured it out. Haven't played since, but I am interested in giving it a try again. I would also like to learn the piano, but who really has the time.

Musical Talents:
None really, although I can be heard singing before, during and after the shows. So if you ever hear an off note at a show, it's from me! Sorry, I will try to keep it down.

Gear:
LED flashlight, pocket knife, duct tape, fencing wire, belt, Canon 30D, water, coffee, bananas and my rope.

Favorite Bands/Artists:
Bon Jovi, George Strait, Randy Rogers Band, Pat Green, P!nk, Nickleback, Goo Goo Dolls, Sugarland, Shinedown, Third Day...I could go on, but I won't. Let's just say, I really like music.

Who would you want to play you in the movie about your life:
Sandra Bullock....in Ms. Congeniality movie style.

Sound you love:
Early morning in the country. No cars, people or lawn mowers. Just some birds chirping, the occasional sound from the horses or cows, gentle breeze blowing, sun rising over the lake out back....Sorry, I drifted off to my happy place!

Sound you hate:
Yelling, especially when it's at me.

Job you would love to try other than your current one:
Large Animal Veterinarian, Photographer, or Drafting.

Favorite curse word:
Bite me! (curse word or pick up line...?)

What CD is currently in your CD player:
I have a 6 disc changer in the truck, so it could be: Gig Songs, Bon Jovi, Randy Rogers Band, Bon Jovi, Pat Green or Bon Jovi.

Last good movie you saw:
The Man From Snowy River

Favorite State Fair Food:
There is food at the fair? I don't usually leave the barns.
